The oblique diamond pattern of Lawrence was inspired by the optical effects of Indonesian Ikat textiles, and has evolved now to become a signature motif for the studio. Lawrence is a woven jacquard fabric, with a dominant inky blue figure on a striped ground. The embossed texture is achieved with a heat-shrink yarn ā a signature Margo Selby technique.Ā
